About Us

M Word Music has the general aim of being the best music site on the internet. We wanted to provide deep information on as many artists as we could to provide a truely complete source of music information on the internet.

And so M World Music was established as part of M World. However despite our efforts the site remained to have little content and other sites were introducing better features. So on Wednesday the 11th of June 2003 we began to redesign the site with new and up to date features. This would be version 2 of the site.

From version 1 of the site:

After looking around on the net, M World noticed that there was no real good places to find album listings, reviews, features, etc. Our music channel was good but did not contain that much information and so we designed a portal within M World to serve all our music information.

We also were looking into a subscription based music service and our new music portal was the perfect place to launch it. We began adding information, reviews, track listings and more to our site but we also intrigrated many features with our main sites. Everytually we may intigrate it all.
